Wool, Tweed and Black Lace..



Fluffy, warm knits paired with a silky lingerie inspired slip or flash of lace; coats and blazers with a pleated skirt paired with cozy cardigans and the softest cashmere..




As the temperatures drop I find myself living in comfy polo necks spiced up with a shiny PVC skirt and sandals, or enveloped in more layers than the michelin man; camis under jumpers and faux fur coats with a gorgeous pair of Topshop leather trousers I can’t seem to wrestle off my legs lately..

1. Love, love loving the ever favoured Diptyque Baies candle in a gorgeous dark finish, this looks amazing burning next to one of their smaller classic white candles for a beautiful monochrome detail to finish off a room.

2. I’m becoming increasingly obsessed with the Lulu Guinness lips clutches, this black snakeskin version is a sophisticated version of the fun classic.

The Love Affair Continues..

I already devoted a post to declaring excitement/infatuation and a load of other way too excitable ramblings for a new season high street collection last week, but these little beauties have filtered their way under my Zara-radar and left me too hot to not share with you;



The dress is yours for less than £40 and the beautiful palest pink coat will set you back £180, which I think is very reasonable, it’ll ultimately cost you more in dry cleaning..

Dries Van Noten A/W 2013-14..


The clash of textiles and colour. The juxtaposition of thick woolly socks with the most delicate jewelled barely-there sandals. The Dries Van Noten Autumn/Winter 2013/14 show has played on my mind since the models took to the runway on a cold late-February day, but before being allowed to get too excited we’ve had a season of delicate lace Dolce florals and bright yellow Vuitton checks to enjoy…

..but sitting on the wettest evening ever to come out of August, tucked up in bed in my favourite silky pair of pyjamas I can finally pour over the most stunning feathered jumpers and shaggy fur coats.
